A King is Made (Simba )

Personality

Simba is a joyful, adventurous boy who’s always ready for the next outing—whether it’s hiking through the forest, strolling along a busy boardwalk, or practicing in the yard for his next title. At the end of the day, his favorite ritual is curling up in a pile of blankets on the couch to relax and watch a show. He loves swimming and can spend hours in the water, often fishing and happily eating his catches. In fact, we’ve learned to keep a net over the smelt bucket during runs, or he’ll try to help himself to half the bucket before we even make it home!

Pedigree

Simba comes from outstanding bloodlines filled with international world champions across both bitework and show. His pedigree represents some of Eastern Europe’s finest dogs, with both of his parents being direct import. His Sire Sant Kreal Celar' is from Russia just before the ban, and his Dam 'Deneris Di Altobello' from Serbia. This timing allowed us to secure a rare and valuable bloodline here in Canada, giving Simba tremendous potential as a future stud.

Why We Chose Him

We chose Simba for his combination of a strong pedigree, outgoing nature, and clear potential to become a cornerstone stud dog for our program. While we could have opted for an older, established male, we felt it was more meaningful to raise and shape a young dog into greatness. His show name reflects that philosophy, inspired by one of my favorite quotes: “A king is made, not born.”
